The earth is the Lord's

Ex 9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the Lord; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord's.

The earth, and all that is in it belongs to the Lord. Moses lets Pharaoh know that the earth is controlled by the Lord because it belongs to him. Moses was given authority to command the weather! He could change the climate!

Dt 10:12-14
And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? 14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

Psa 24:1
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas,
and established it upon the floods.

It is God who created the heavens and the earth; Gen 1:1; Psa 104. And as these three passages affirm; it all belongs to him. Paul refers to these scriptures when talking about receiving food, whatever men may do to call it there own or to dedicate it to idols, it does not change the ultimate owner, The Almighty God.

1 Cor 10:26
26 For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

For these reasons we do not fear the natural variability of climate change, nor the ultimate of the earth;

2 Pet 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

The Lord knows the end and the judgment which he has reserved, and while we should be good stewards of what we have and the many environmental causes deserve attention, fear of the end, of death by climate is not expected :)
